As the Earth Federation defeated the Zeon in the One Year War, they continued to develop their Mobile Suit Gundams to make them more potent on the battlefield, and they developed the FA-78-1 Full Armor variant with heavier armor and more weaponry. Though the FA-78-1 never appeared in any Gundam anime, it is considered an official Gundam variant, and now it returns to Bandai's Gundam Fix Figuration figure line, redesigned and rebuilt with an interal frame.
