I was rather disapointed with this kit well my main gripe would be the way the legs attach to the torso wich makes posing and standing it up for display difficult to say the least. Other then that its a decent kit.

Hey, Gundam Fan here again and let me tell you about the Hazel Custom Gundam, this thing is possible as anything I've seen and comes with plenty of goodness for fun in display or playing. I am also an artist so one thing i like about this is the poses i can put it in, its helped me with quite a few stances in drawing already. its nice and tough, be more careful about the joints though.. not a good idea to stress those much. but. love this Gundam, looks awesome, very good articulation, but one thing i hate about it, see those guns in its hands? yeah.. those ones in the display pic? yeah.. IT DOESN'T HOLD THEM VERY WELL! the guns can be loosely placed in there.. but they fall out when you move it... i thought it was just my toy, but then i got the "original Hazel" and it does the exact same damn thing, so a quick tape job and they are in, you can secure it to the hand so you can remove the hand and gun for the hand that holds the beam saber just fine, but it is still a bit annoying, this is a rare problem with these toys, but its a problem defiantly for this type, not a big enough problem to stop me from buying it again if i wanted another model of it, but it is a bit annoying..
other then that. awesome toy

This was not what I was expecting... I recently purchased the Master Grade "Blast Mode" version of this model and wanted some duplicate parts, but while this is the same scale and same Gundam robot, the model parts are far different, and not interchangeable (the gun on the back is significantly smaller).
The model is nice and detailed, but pales next to the Blast mode version, but at half the price it's a good buy. However... If you want the most intricate version short of the 1/60 grade... go with the Blast mode!

I know a place where they sell millions of Gundam models for $20 a piece, but this is well worth the price, since the TV anime did air almost 13 years ago, so this model is hard to find in retail stores.
For anyone who does not know, this is the HG (or High Grade) model version of this Gundam. The levels are HG (around $25 or so), MG (Master Grade, around $50+) And PG (Perfect Grade, easily goes over $100, but is well worth it). If you are willing to spend the money, a Gundam fan, or just a hobbyist, I would suggest getting the PG or MG models. If price is a problem, stick to the HG models, they're impressive themselves.
Almost all of the pieces are colored silver so it looks cool. It is not the real color of the Gundam, but it looks okay. The only thing that I am sad about are the wings of this model; It is just one piece of silver plastic with a few movable parts. For anyone who loves this model (I do, my favorite Gundam), try to research the PG or MG models for information on more movable/complex wings, because that is the one main thing that gives this Gundam its uniqueness.
Overall, a great buy.

I build gundam models all the time when I can A. find them and B. have the money to spend on them. I saw this and figured "why not, it could be interesting to see my models take on aerial like poses and for the money." This base stand is cheap and is just like a standard gundam model. You have to build it like and model which takes maybe, maybe 10 minutes at the most.
This thing has 4 different holders to place on the end so it works for several different gundam models. At the time I don't have and models left to place on this stand but I recently got the gundam 00 exia action figure and it works with this stand. I tried other gundam toys in my collection on this stand but they didn't work. From what I can tell most MSIA figures will work with this stand but since this was meant for the models and not the toys don't expect it to work because I just lucked out on this one.
Although this thing is a great deal and built like a tank I do have one problem with it and that's that it is to light. What I mean by this is that with a model or figure on it, especially a figure, you can only set the crane rod over the stand. Though you can twist the rod stand around on the base the stand alone is really heavy and causes the stand to tilt and fall over. This can be solved by adding weight to the base since it is flat and has plenty of room to do so but it's a hassle. Even with this problem I still enjoy this stand.
Anyways there are several different stands with different looks and shapes but all do the same thing. This particular model comes in a few different colors like red, green, and of course this blue one. I recommend this stand to anyone who is looking for one for their gundam models. If you haven't used or seen one and are looking for your first I recommend this one since it's basic, simple to build, and is one of the cheaper ones and if you like it then buy more or get one of the different types that are out like the zeon emblem, or the federation emblem or even the celestial being emblem. Well worth the extra cash to check out and add a little more flare to your models.
