I build gundam models all the time when I can A. find them and B. have the money to spend on them. I saw this and figured "why not, it could be interesting to see my models take on aerial like poses and for the money." This base stand is cheap and is just like a standard gundam model. You have to build it like and model which takes maybe, maybe 10 minutes at the most.
This thing has 4 different holders to place on the end so it works for several different gundam models. At the time I don't have and models left to place on this stand but I recently got the gundam 00 exia action figure and it works with this stand. I tried other gundam toys in my collection on this stand but they didn't work. From what I can tell most MSIA figures will work with this stand but since this was meant for the models and not the toys don't expect it to work because I just lucked out on this one.
Although this thing is a great deal and built like a tank I do have one problem with it and that's that it is to light. What I mean by this is that with a model or figure on it, especially a figure, you can only set the crane rod over the stand. Though you can twist the rod stand around on the base the stand alone is really heavy and causes the stand to tilt and fall over. This can be solved by adding weight to the base since it is flat and has plenty of room to do so but it's a hassle. Even with this problem I still enjoy this stand.
Anyways there are several different stands with different looks and shapes but all do the same thing. This particular model comes in a few different colors like red, green, and of course this blue one. I recommend this stand to anyone who is looking for one for their gundam models. If you haven't used or seen one and are looking for your first I recommend this one since it's basic, simple to build, and is one of the cheaper ones and if you like it then buy more or get one of the different types that are out like the zeon emblem, or the federation emblem or even the celestial being emblem. Well worth the extra cash to check out and add a little more flare to your models.

I purchased 2 of these when I went to buy my Exia and 00 SD model kits. They fit perfectly and accompany the whole GN particle look.
The stand is quite easy to build.
You can connect multiple stands together via a small piece (which is provided) to do multiple poses and whatnot.
Anyway, if you're going to get any Gundam 00 model kit, you definitely should invest in a few more dollars and get this.

I've had the RGZ for quite a while and I like it along with most of the MSIA figures. This toy is solid soft plastic, and therefor heavy. It sometimes sags under its own weight, but it is very durable. If you pull off one of its limbs, it Will just snap back into place. Its parts do hold together rather well in both modes of transformation. Don't be alarmed when you see that it is a larger toy than most of the other figures, the RGZ is a larger machine in the Gundam story line and is set to the same scale as the other MSIA figures. The figure is decently detailed, and its balance, articulation, and posabillity seem fairly realistic. Its nice for a collector whom does not want to assemble a model kit, or someone that would like to be able to play with the figure and not damage it.
There are some small parts, so I don't recommend this for small children.

Ok, that was a little corny and commercial-y, but it's the truth. For the most part, all of the amazing Gundam battles are done in space or in the sky, and posing them on the ground just isn't as cool. Now, the Strike Freedom and the Destiny are duking it out, flying up over the top of the laptop screen and into view.
When you finish building don't put the holder on the stand right away. There are 3 supports that look exactly the same, but when you go to put your Gundam on, some work better for certain figures than others. Take the support and put it on the Gundam first and then put them both onto the stand.

This display stand has to be one of the best Ive ever seen. While it comes with accessories to help in the displaying of smaller gundam models, I find that this particular stand is to larger and would over power the focus for anything smaller then a 1/100 or master grade scale gundam. It does come in pieces but it is a very easy build, as it only took me ten minutes or less to finish it. Also with this brand of stand, custom connectors for each gundam can be found in most of the newer Bandi master and perfect grade gundam kits.

The main feature of this display stand is that it has multiple pieces to attach various Gundam figures produced throughout the years.
The arm of the display is highly adjustable that allow it to "bend" at various angles. The arm can extend itself to twice it's length a few inches short of a foot while still supporting the Gundam. The bases can be connected to multiple ones to create a platform to display an entire collection.
